welded crank and bearing?
« on: October 10, 2013, 09:41:55 AM »

I'm in the process of doing a motor build. I'm really thinking about going with the T-Man 110 Thumper kit and hoping to get some where close to 130/130  :) I was wondering would it be safe to leave the bottom end alone or should I address this now?

I'd suggest doing it now.

You might be fine or you might not.  With it that far down for everything else, why skimp?

I'm very pleased with my T-Man build (see my thread in this section), but you'll need to find a happy dyno to hit 130/130 with it.

If in doubt, send it to Darkhorse, or keep it under roof at T-Man.
