I have a 2011 CVO Streetglide Black in color and they painted my frame to match I thought it was a nice bonus.

Of course I can't be certain, but I have convinced myself that my Duracell's frame came bone stock with a "Black Onyx" painted-to-match frame as well.   :2vrolijk_21:  ;D

( just to mention that not only CVOs have colored frames...Don't know if there are many though...)

I think the painted frames definitely add to the "Custom" in CVO.  However, I'm glad mine has a black frame to hide or camouflage some of the cabling.

That was a nice touch to the CVO's the painted frames, they should have kept on doing that.
