This is what I love about this site.....You pick a topic to read about.....Find out about the seat (in this case).......Get recommendations on several different beers to try......Find out what everyone can afford for their OCD fix.......and get to hear how everyone's ass is doing.  Great!   [smiley=banana.gif]   Great!   [smiley=banana.gif]

Ride Safe,

Talking of which I was in Hospital yesterday for a colonoscopy - all clear thank goodness - man that thing is a monster - it goes ONE METRE (39") inside you and looks around while you watch in living colour.
I can hardly wait for the next one - in 3 years time - my ass might have recovered by then
Cheers
Dave

Thanks for the ass snake update Dave, went great with the morning coffe.

I go in on Monday for a physical, first in some time so I am sure I'll get an introduction to the monster in the near future.

Holy Crap 39" ???, My doc said I get one of these when I turn 50, which is soon......I stayed alive and out of prison all my life for the soul reason of no snakes up my butt, and this is my reward??, I just hope the hospital worker who preforms this procedure's name isnt 'Bubba'.

The upside, when the scope is in there, they will find written on my anal cavity walls, 'MoCo was here'

I've been putting off getting a colonoscopy for 8 years...after reading this, it may be 8 more.   [smiley=nervous.gif]

Hell...the procedure itself is a piece of cake, even though in my opinion, that particular orfrice is an exit only on my body...it's the Fleet's soda you take the night before that gets to you.

Me too, but it isn't the recommended way of handling this.

Too many folks put it off to find they should have done it when recommended.

Agreed...the little bit of discomfort is well worth the piece of mind.

In the past two or three years, I've been poked, probed and had parts of my insides viewed so much, I feel like I have been abducted by Aliens....
Terry,
Glad you mentioned this because I was beginning to think something was weird with me because I feel the same way (no need for the "Amigo's" to insert comment here :D) Having had a sibling succumb to Colon Cancer this procedure is the least of my concerns, and if I can get a clean bill of health from it the procedure itself is a blessing.

You all are lucky.  Should the time come you actually experience prostate "issues" after that ANYONE wearing a white smock (including psychologists, dental hygienists, and the little girls at the candy factory) will think your ass needs to be inspected anytime they are within range.  Gets to the point that the instictive reaction to any snappy sound that might in any way resemble a rubber glove is the immediate slapping of your hands over your ass and the whimpering of "mommie."  There are so many times I've wished I was simply able to fart on command......
