No Longer A CVO'er
« on: October 21, 2013, 12:46:44 PM »

I have struggled with the decsion but traded my 09 CVO Ultra in for a 14 Black Limited.  I had my choice of any of the three colors in the 2014 CVO Limited's but simply did not love any of them.  I so wanted the Infotainment system and fancy new lights now.  I am in line for the CVO Limited of my choice in 2015 when they come out so am hoping they have a color set I prefer.  I will be lost without all of the chrome and goodies until next year.  In the interim, I will be a lurker here so keep posting and I will be back soon.

This site and all of the people are great.

I was looking at the Limited the other day. Nice bike but I did a walk around and it lacked a lot of the goodies we are accustomed to! Best of luck!

We of course will also be here to answer any questions you have. No need to lurk in the darkest shadows.

I am in the same boat as you.  Traded in my 12 CVO for a 14 SGS.  Still at a dealer (different one that sold) due to V&H Power Dual heat shields not being proplery installed.  me not too happy right now.  Anyway, good luch with your Limited.  I will be lurking too.  Feeling a bit emptiness right now but will forge ahead.

I rode a friend's '14 Limited the other day and found it to be a great bike. The infotainment system sounds terrific and the handling was excellent. Enjoy!

Is it just me or has Harley offered some ugly colors lately?

I agree. I saw nothing that caught my eye in the '14 lineup  :nixweiss:

The 14 colors don't bowl me over. They seem more and more subdued as time goes on. I think the MoCo is trying to appeal to the higher end buyer who is accustomed to the relatively drab colors on high end automobiles.

I'm with Greg here....rode a Limited demo at the local dealer couple weeks ago....impressive.  Not enough to ever get rid of Ginger but liked the new stereo (quality sound now, not just loud), linked brakes worked very well.  Rode interstate and few back roads.  The changes in the front end along with the new faring worked.

Good luck with your new scooter, Dan....no sense lurking around.... keep joining in with the rest of us nuts.... ;D
