I added the Dyno jet USB III to the CVO and did some preliminary tuning. Although it didn't do much for the regular Deuce except KILL the fuel mileage, until I tuned it (then it only lost 3-4 mpg), it really woke up the CVO and only slightly lowered the mileage. It mostly dropped the around town mileage by about 2-4 mpg, but the hi-way mileage remains at about 49. All in all a good deal. The non CVO with the reinstallation of the old Terry components feedback tuner lost a small amount of transient response but gained mpg, now back to 50-51 mostly hi-way. I still haven't found any dyno comparisons between the T-header and the V&H 2 into 1, nor any anecdotal evidence either. At this point, I am looking for a used chrome set of the blue proof V&H 2 into 1s and will compare them myself, and probably selling the T-header as a result. God, the T-header looks cheap, backwoods, blued, and generally chintzy (notice the quality difference of the collectors, bends, and chrome),compared to the V&H on the other Deuce next to it. I also never got a response from the Thunder Header people about my questions either. There would have to be a HUGE advantage to the T-header for me to consider keeping it, and having the inside Jet-Hot coated and the outside re-chromed for appearances. The jet-hot inside keeps the bluing to a minimum, and might even keep the T-header from melting my new, genuine, Harley $250.00 boots anymore than it has. In absence of any real feedback, I re-read this post, and I guess my mind is made up by reviewing the info that I have. TIMINATOR
