Spark plugs
« on: October 26, 2013, 11:30:08 AM »

Just wondering what  the heat range is  for a 05 CVO 103 .I have used iridiums in the past in my 95 in builds. And i know its basically a waste money to put these in my 103.I would like to go with  NJK or champion and just need the correct #. Thanks

Why do you say "waste of money"?  :bananarock:

I have had Great Success with Iridiums on My 04 Carbed FLHTC but have read many posts where it was recommended not to use Iridiums with Injected bikes.

They will last in service much longer.  But that's it.  So unless you're planning to never change plugs again because you've gone to the more expensive part there's no particular gain.

I use the stock Champion plugs the bike comes with. Years of A/B testing on the dyno has taught me there's NO magic in spark plugs, any kind, any type, any exotic brand/style  :o. Some of them will lighten your wallet though.   :-[
