I was only able to put a few miles on after my install due to hand surgery, so don't take this as gospel, but I used 15wt (it was what I had) and both spacers (I go about 210).  The ride was far better than stock, but firm.  Gonna be a few more weeks until I can take the bike back out and give it a proper shakedown.

I would use the spacers. Without you will see some sag in the front end.

I am OK with some drop, by all means not a slam.  I just dont want a bone jaring ride and i certainly do no want to tear it back down.

Run all of them, two on each side

A little curious about the piece the dealer did not and I guess could not install laying on my shop stool.  The other side is installed, but not this one, do they make a different size for the Hot Legs by Arlen Ness?

Is this even safe?

So when I first saw the bike I was a bit disappointed with the amount the slider goes over the cuts on the slider legs.  The more I see it the more I am OK with it.  So I put the Progressive mono tube in (no drop model), but I left BT spacers off per Progressives advice.  This gave me about a 1inch drop.
Like nearly everyone else I am ecstatic about the ride and could not be happier.  Earlier I had put the 944s on the rear and thought they cold be better, well with the mono tubes up front they are better.  The mono tubes really pulled the whole enchelata together.

Oh I should warn those thinking about the Afterburner sliders, those scallops are razor sharp like Freddy reaching out to get you.

This is what I did, and I go about 210 with gear on.  While the ride is certainly better than stock, it seems a bit harsh (as though the pendulum swung too far in the other direction).  I'm wondering if using S/E Heavy fluid, or possibly not burping the fork legs enough could have something to do with it.  Again, I'm not unhappy with the Monotubes (especially for what I paid for them), I'm just surprised the front's as stiff as it is.

When i spoke to Progressive about the spacers and my weight (170), Frank recomended leaving them all out.  I am happy i did, i do not think they are stiff at all.

That's really frustrating, as the instructions say to use both with no discussion of rider weight.  Guess I'll call them tomorrow and see what they say.

Your right, this was a very frustrating decission to make.  I went off of countless hours of research on the net plus what Progressive told me.  I could not find any spec anywhere on weights vs spacers.
