2008 CVO Road King 110 motor vibration problem.
« on: November 05, 2013, 11:58:35 PM »

Have a 2008 CVO 110 Road King that has started to vibrate a lot.
At idle it vibrates mirrors and bars.
At 3,000 RPM.it vibrates less.
When riding you can feel vibration through grips and floor boards.
Does any one else have this problem.

Have you checked your front motor mount. I've heard that a sloppy oil change can deteriorate the rubber. Not sure if its true, but take a look down under and see if its cracked or deteriorating...

Things to Check:
front motor mount for cracking
Loose motor mounts
exhaust hitting the floorboard mount
Debris between swing arm mounts and frame

The 10k service should address some of the above items.

If these all check out you could have a slipped crankshaft, you'll need to have the runout checked.
