Fork aesthetics
« on: November 11, 2013, 02:35:07 AM »

I have the Yaffe contrast cut afterburner fork cans.  Right now i have the chrome fork lowers and cant decide if i want to keep the chrome from HD go with all black or get the contrast cut from Arlen Ness.

Thought i should include some current pics. Link

Are your Yaffe's black? If they are, I change my vote to black lowers..........The Skunk begs to be B&W

The vertical scallops on the Yafterburner cowbells and the vertical scallops on the Ness legs look great together.

Give me a bit.  Not installed on a bike but have the pair out in the shop right now.  They belong to a friend and will go on his bike when there's time to do the deed.  But can lay the parts next to each other for you to see.  Will try to remember to do it this evening.  If I forget remind me.

Or closer to what they'd look like on the bike with the cover down over the leg.

THanx for taking the time to take the photos, those look pretty awsome.  I would like to see em on the bike if you get the time.  I am concerned they may look to busy.

Not sure when they'll get installed.  Though I'm sure the bike's rider would like to see it sooner rather than later this fall. Will post pics when it gets done though.  Can share a pic of just the Yaferburner covers installed on a different bike though.  It's the chrome version over red legs on my Road King.  If going with the chrome version have also seen them installed over glass black legs (no pic, sorry).  Really like the contrast of the chrome Yafterburner covers over a solid cover leg.

Better shot of a full leg but taken prior to the bike's completion.
