starter bike for daughter
« on: November 19, 2013, 09:54:18 AM »

My daughter turns 18 in two weeks. I have always told her when she turns 18 I would buy her a bike not before.  She has been looking at bikes on line and wants something 600 cc or more. I think that may be a bit too powerful for her and am thinking about getting her a rebel 250 to start off with.

I plan to have her take a state safety course. She has rode on the back of my HD many times and loves it.

Am I wrong to think 600 cc is too much? Do y'all think a rebel 250 would be better?

I love riding. I understand why she loves riding. But it is difficult for me to think about my daughter getting on her own bike. Others on here have certainly been through the same emotions. I hope she doesn't get injured. I have over 100000 miles on motorcycles and still think about dying everytime I get behind the handlebars. I thank the lord every time I come home safely and always say a prayer before mounting up

It's just a test.
What this loser doesn't know is that he has already failed the test.
But I guess we can wait a few months and he will be back under another name.
Regardless of the name it still won't change the fact that he's a loser.

They both should have tricycles.  That way they can back them out of the garage without flipping them over! :huepfenjump3: :drink:

Don't need to buy another.  Just give her your Big Wheel; if you're done with it.

Had to ride that far 'cause once he got going he was afraid he couldn't hold the bike up if he stopped.   That and he wasn't sure of the proper braking techniques

It is quite clear that this idiot "Passmeabeer" is a fraud. To date he has made a few posts and sucked members in to making numerous responses, albeit in an effort to offer assistance until it was obvious what type of person we're dealing with.

I only make this post to make a suggestion... Why not ignore his posts completely and not give in to his posts.  Possibly he will simply fade away.  Just a thought.
