Life's journey is not to arrive safely at the grave in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out shouting Holy Chit......... What a Ride!

This bike has Chip's name all over it!

http://powersports.honda.com/2014/valkyrie/performance.aspx

Maybe so :nixweiss:...

I test rode a FB6, no cruise and no abs and no highway pegs.
The dash/cockpit or whatever it's called looked right out of the 90's with everything plastic.
Not for me.

This new one, maybe with ABS and cruise and pegs and a set of Fullsac baffles.
Anyway, you can't argue with the color.

Be a nice hot shower should one of them rupture.

Nothing will break on it is a Honda, not a HD.

bwahahaha, thats so funny.  it isn't like honda hasn't had a recall every year since 2009 (except 2011) for brakes.  and what about the neck weld fiasco.  and wasn't there something about the rear swingarm too?

its man made, and its gonna have man made issues.  and i'd still rather ride a harley.

Hurt feelings report  :nixweiss:

Obviously so do I (ride a HD that is) but there is no doubt that Honda's quality is light years ahead of HDs. Not sure what RPPM HD has but I guess its high. Honda is on the boarder of world class.

Rotarywing, you might as well give it up.  some people will defend the MoCo stronger than they will their own religious beliefs.  Almost like it is their religion.  It's all in the cool-aid.

I was mostly kidding. I love my HD but I am aware of the flaws. (Some cool-aid drinking on my part to)

I really don't care what people ride as long as they ride, that makes them okay in my book.

no hurt feelings on my part.  i just get a kick out of those who try to pass off honda as 'bullet proof' and hd as a 'pos'....  like i mentioned earlier, they are all made by man and as such, there is a good chance something is going to break.  be it honda, hd, victory, whatever.

you ride what you want, i'll ride what i want.....  i'll still buy you a beer

and in 12 years, and 7 (2 riders) harleys, i've never been stranded by a mechanical failure.  flat tire once, but that isn't hd's fault

42 years of riding on 28 something MCs. Never stranded but broken down a few times - fixed on the road side

All that stuff is considered "CHARACTER".  ;D

The Honda just does nothing for my soul -- it might go and go and go but I don't think it could ever "move" me the way my Harley's do.

 Just one mans' opinion...

To me a motorcycle IS not like a woman. If a woman will let me ride her I don't care what she looks like, you can't close your eyes while riding a bike.  :coolblue: :love_7:

Agree, a Honda car or MC don't feel like it has a soul, but their airplane sure do. Got an opportunity to tour it at OSH this summer. Very sleek and silent. (Fast to)

Would you fly in a Harley made airplane  :nixweiss:
