Arland and Vickie soooooooooo GLAD you guys are doing better.  That was a very sobering day for me when we rode over from RibFest to see you and Vickie in the Hospital in Nashville.  Thank you so much for posting this, because as it comes to health issues I for one is not the "BRIGHTEST CRAYON" in the box......  Well let's face it I'm not bright about anything.  :huepfenlol2:

One of my co workers had about a year ago a double by-pass and I still worry about him as he has a lot of the symptoms you described in your post.

Arland,
I have been following your and Vickie's recovery since last May. Man you scared the hell out of a bunch of us. Missed having you with us around the fire at MV. Hope you are well e enough to join us this year. If not we may have a group ride to Chattanooga to see you.
Thanks for posting your symptoms,I never knew.

Thanks all for your nice posts. Mikeytee, scared the hell out of myself. I wish I would have known the symptoms seven months ago, may have saved me a lot of trouble. Hope to be at MV in 2014. Heart doctor told me today that he thinks I need a Pacemaker, so I have a consult about that scheduled for Dec.2nd. Heart has not recovered from the attack, is only pumping 25%. I feel good, but dont want another black out incident, which the doctor said could happen. Hope to see everyone soon.

Both my Dad and my sister have pacemakers, but they are 93 and 71 respectfully. They were having blackout problems and the pacemakers fixed that. Dad also had a pig valve put in.Says he gets teary eyed when he eats breakfast. :D

Thanks Mikey, that made me laugh. My mom has had some heart issues, but she is 86. I've just had the one blackout, (it was bad and came at a very bad time as you know), I guess doctor just wanting to make sure it don't happen again.    Arland
