Factory Shocks

Are the rear shocks on the FLHTCSE already shorter than regular Electra Glide shocks? Would the HD low profile shocks get me any lower?  Thanks.

The 04's and 05's come with the 12" profile shocks whereas the stock Eglides are 13"..
