'Spoke with S&S tech support a few times last week, telling them that I wanted a high mileage sport touring motor that would have as much low end as possible while still running out the back door (it doesn't hurt to ask  :nixweiss:)  ~ 'thinking of going  with the S&S crank and the gear drives in the 110 (probably 113) rebuild, instead of welding, etc ~ every time, the S&S techs mentioned the Timken bearings... maybe because I am leaning towards the gear drive?

It doesn't hurt to have all the support that you can, on the drive side of a big inch V-Twin.
