Why not the dealer?
With the Digital Tech it is simple and should not cost much. I am assuming the tune is OK as-is

You can use a standard automotive relay activated by the starter solenoid circuit, it's the single green wire on the starter.

The ECM flash will activate the ACRs only on the compression stroke.  Wiring to the starter wire will keep the ACR active as long as the button is being pressed - this will be just like a manual ACR so it's no big deal.

I have always used a relay wired to the starter wire.

S&S has a printed sheet on wiring its for there kit but you can still use it as a base. However the idea to wire it to the S terminal on the starter can create issues. You are better to get in front of that system and use the  starter button power system to trigger your relay. One more thing the HD ACR was not built to be a true On item. We have replaced a few that customers wires in that way. Not sure on the reason not to wire it in the proper way .. but its your bike. Most times if the dealer does a stage 1 load it will be all ready done.

On my bike,  I installed wiring and relay system using the horn button to power the relay on pin 86 and ground 85, and use fused battery power to pin 30 and 87 to the ACR's,  I use the ACR for every start and have many miles on them with no problems.  this is done because it is a 2000 bike.

with your bike,  I would have used the DT or any software such as TTS to trigger on the ACR capabilities,  and like Steve says don't use the starter solenoid wire to trigger the relay,  nothing but problems with that set-up.

I tried wiring mine to the starter similar to S&S's way and my bike wouldn't start because the ECM sensed low compression I was told.  I ended up with manual compression releases because the dealer service guy was not up to snuff on this procedure and they're 300 miles from me.  The only thing I could figure was the computer must have some sort of delay to alow the engine to start with however it senses the lower compression.  Writing this out I think I might have been fed a line of BS.  Anyway I'm happy with the Manual Releases.  Makes people wonder what I'm doing when I reach down to push them in.  I tell those not in the know I'm caressing ;) the spark plugs.
