Definitely an evolutionary look, I like it. Personally I am getting tired of the retro look. An independent rear has been a long time coming. The Camaro has had it since 2010 and it is a great asset if you live up north with pothole stricken roads. Can't wait to see what they do with the Shelby's! As I work at a Chevy dealership I have driven the ZL1 several times and it is like a liter bike, gets you in over your head faster than you can believe. Kinda like a 200 HP Harley. I imagine Ford is going to step it up some for the top of the line cars soon. The muscle car era has nothing on today's horsepower wars, these cars actually turn and stop! For you old timers, I don't know how you lived through bias ply tires and drum brakes!
