Corbin from a 2009 Road Glide will it fit?
« on: December 06, 2013, 01:22:42 PM »

Does anybody know if a one piece Corbin that fit a 2009 Road Glide, fit a 2013
FLHRSE5 Road King.  If not can the nose be easily modified?
Thanks in advance for your replies

It will fit if the dash of the RK is the same length.  If it is not, it is probably easier to swap out the dash than it is to modify the seat.  Did that for my 2004 RG.

It will fit but the nose will sit on top of the chrome console.  I'm not sure the passenger end will fit with the chrome strips attached to the bike. I've read about people having to remove them. I had a classic solo for a FLH/FLT. I didn't like the way it stuck up above the console I decided to sell it and get a seat designed for the bike.Your experience may vary.

The nose sits on top of the console and overlaps about an inch.  the underside of that portion of the seat is covered in cloth so I don't see any scratching going on.  It lines up with the rear screw just fine while locking in at the forward position.  May still have the nose of the Corbin seat reworked so it fits better.
