Breakout for Road Glide?
« on: December 06, 2013, 06:48:00 PM »

Guys,  I'm thinking about trading in my CVO RG for a CVO Breakout.  I love the Glide and thoroughly enjoyed my trip to Sturgis but most of my riding is day trips around the area.  I think a smaller bike might be more fun "around town".  The suspension on the RG needed to be replaced before it would handle but everything else was good.  Any issues with the Breakout that I should know?  Thanks  Tom

Ask Nicky.  Personally, I love the looks of the BO.   :drink:

Keep the glide and buy another scooter for that local riding.   An old FXR makes a great second scooter.  They don't cost a lot, to buy or own, and they ride really well.

Love my Breakout, even for longer rides.

Certainly thought about that.  Just don't know if I want two bikes, I had two before and always rode the "nice" one.  I did look at XR1200, we'll see.

Agreed.... or a later Dyna (2000-up) with the better electricals.
