Which recall has been performed twice already? Only recall I've seen is the clutch which has nothing to do with the leaks. :)

Semantics.  The other issue wasn't an official "Recall", Harley chose to call it a Product Program.  By calling them Programs rather than Recalls, they avoid certain expenses, legal issues, and negative publicity.  I believe they called it Program 0916: PRD PGM: Twin-Cool Fill NK.

Previously they had issued a tech tip covering other issues like clamps, filler caps, etc.  Perhaps that is what GMR Steve was referring to when he said the bike had been worked on twice for a "recall".

Have another here now that is leaking coolant on the floor.. It's had the recall .......... TWICE  ha ha , thermostat housing leaking this time again.. as well top line is cracked and flopping around on rocker box. Its got 758 miles on it.
The answer is obvious!  You're dealing with a high mileage bike.  Time to trade it off!  When you have a bike so long that you have to do heavy maintenance, like checking tire pressure- trade it off.   :jalapeno:

It seems that every time HD comes out with something new, buying the first few months production run makes us beta testers.  Best to wait for the second half year's product.
