I'm waiting on a 2014 FLHRSE CVO now, and had ordered the standard seat, cause the better half said she was going to ride......really.......so now Ive ordered seat and back rest for her and I.

Look at the Hammock seat with rests

Any of the standard touring seats should work, but you have to be concerned with the fender trim that is located under the removable passenger pillion. Certain seats will dent your rear fender if you don't remove those strips on top of the fender.

I'm referring to the two black trim strips behind the riders seat, see picture.

I picked up an HD SunRay heated seat of of EBAY and it fit fine without removing the strips. However when I included the rider's backrest the mounting bracket for the backrest interfered with the strips so I removed them then. They were real easy to remove. They are put in place with an adhesive that just pelled right off with my fingers and left hardly no residue at all behind. What little residue there was came right off with a little bit of wax.

Had the same issue with the 2 strip when I mounted my Seat and Backrest. So as not to remove the strips I just modified the mounting box of the backrest by grinding off the rear to Holes that I would never use anyhow....Box fits nicely between the 2 stips. I did think of removing the strips. But woud rather them on for when I go standard solo....Plus I think they may work on keeping the pillion part of the seat off the guard... :nixweiss:
I fitted a Standard 2013 Street Glide and Drivers back rest...I think they are as comfy as you can get standard..... ;)

I used the "Mustang Regal Touring" seat, standard Harley rider and passenger backrest. What I did was get a couple of nylon bushings from Lowe's to raise the rear of the mounting bracket over the strips. I've had it on since right after I bought it in Oct 2012. Zero problems or damage.
