White Hot Denim help....
« on: December 28, 2013, 10:15:40 AM »

Ok, so I have always wanted a 2011 FLHX in the White Hot Denim color ever since I saw them in the showroom. I have recently come across a good priced one, but have heard horror stories recently about this color paint. Has anyone had this bike before or know someone that does and can give me some insight on this before I jump off and buy this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Paint maintenance more than anything. I've basically been told that anything and everything scratches it, that it's next to impossible to keep clean, and if you do have a fender bender, good luck trying to get someone to match it!

Match wise I have a formula – maintenance wise I know they have special cleaners but when I do parts to match with PPG Matte finish clear it usually holds up just fine other than that I don't know much more about the maintenance
