does anyone want to save $100.00?
« on: November 16, 2006, 09:46:50 PM »

there is a artical in Harley Davidson Enthusiast (fall 2006) page 10 titled $100.00 for some elbow Grease, stating that you get $100 bucks labor credit when you purchase eligible accessories and have them installed at participating Hd Dealers now through Jan 31 ,07. just checked with my dealer (getting a se 6 speed installed on my 06 SEUC) and they are giving me the $100 credit. so, I just thought I would pass this info along. I am sure everyone would like to spend the extra cash on chrome!!!!! you just have to ask for it! [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif] ;D

Hey Randy what is your dealer charging you for the Tranny?  I would like to do this but I think I may wait for a winter special maybe more $$$$ savings.

Bubba, the price installed was $3,400.00 but, with 10% on my rider rewards card (HOG) then the $100.00 labor creit brought it down to $2,960. [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

I paid about $2900 installed when I took delivery of mine also.  I have found that with the wife and a full load, I don't use 6th unless it's either flat or downhill and I'm above 80mph.  I do use it when I'm alone.  Seems like when there is a load, hitting 6th below 80 will lead to pinging.  I still like having it, but I just can't think about the dollars.
