I have a 2013 CVO ULtra and a set of Reaper Wheels off a 2010 Ultra.  The 2013 catalog page 693 says an 18 " Reaper Wheel won't fit a !@ and up CVO.  I can't figure out why because the outside dimensions of the wheel and tire are the same for the 17" Agitator wheel and the 18" Reaper Wheel and the outside of the rotors are the same distance also.  Any ideas?

Dunno, but I'm running 18" Agitators on my '12 without issue.

The catalog says:  "Fits '04-later Touring models (except Trike and '12-later CVO™ models)."  And then in the fitment area it shows it will fit a 2014 CVO Limited.  So obviously the only models they supposedly don't fit are the '12 and '13.  This sort of ridiculous fitment information is fairly common in Harley catalogs over the years, and in most cases I've researched in the past the info has been wrong.  The trick will be in finding the one knowledgeable person at H-D who could look at that statement and give you the rationale, if any, for saying it won't work on those two model years.  Good luck with that one.

most of the time that i've noticed some weird fitment issue like that is because it would be considered a 'downgrade' from what is stock on the bike.
