After my question about electric fuel pumps for carb'd motors, I got to thinking about are there any retro kits for V-Twins to convert them to fuel injection?

If so, are they easily programmable or self programming like the new kits from most of the automotive carb companies for V-8's?

Okay, 134 views and nobody has apparently converted an older carb bike with fuel injection.

If anyone hears of a buddy doing this, let me know.

Hey Dan.  I miss a lot of threads but just stumbled on yours here.  I have seen this done once.  Saw the bike on a parking lot.  Guy said he had about 5000 miles on it after the retrofit.  Don't know anything about it other than that.  It was interesting to me so I wrote down the name of the kit and later saved their link.  Take a look here:

I clicked it quickly yesterday.  Just long enough to see a page but it came up then.  Now I'm not seeing anything either.  Did a google search under the product name Pegasus Fuel Injection and didn't get much.  Most interesting was this Bikernet article detailing an installation.

I see this unit advertised in many cycle magazines...  I've never seen one installed, but out of curiosity, I'd be interested in how it performs.

Might want to contact Ron @ Axtell. I helped him convert a carb over to stock HD delphi EFI. While I didn't do the work he could tell you what he used I'm sure.
