Kuryaken 7" LED Halo
« on: February 08, 2014, 12:55:13 PM »

Bought one and started to read the instructions -- the LED halo is the last part installed using adhesive tape on the inside in several places. From what it looks to me that once installed, you will have to pry the Halo off of the adhesive if you want to remove the trim ring if you need replace the headlight.

Thanks for the input.  I run a set of Truck Lites Series-7, and admired the halo.  I guess I'll have to rethink that one.  Maybe on my bride's Sporster, but probably not on my CVO.

Here is the reply back from Kuryaken

I have installed many of these, that is correct you do have to unstuck the led halo to get the trim ring back off or remove your headlight but it is no big deal, we do offer replacement strips of adhesive or you can go to the hardware store and get some double sided tape and it will go right back on, so don’t worry about that it really is no problem.
