Relocate Turn Signals on 2014? (Without passing lamps?)
« on: February 16, 2014, 08:11:22 PM »

I saw the thread on moving the turn signals from the handlebars in conjunction with adding passing lamps.
Any pictures of relocating just the turn signals (no passing lamps)?
Oh, and if it could be orange like mine, that would be great. :)
Thanks in advance.

There's an H-D kit with the Street Glide-style turn signals on the forks. Looks good, not that difficult to install. Biggest pain is getting the existing sig wiring out of the bars. Put them on my '13 CVORK.

I will send some later I just put the W)502 on and had to move the turn signals. I have the Tribal Orange 2014 and I went with Black. Harley screwed up and put the WO577 on it so I have to take it back. By the way the turn signals only came in chrome so I powder coated them black. Should have something for you later.

Not the greatest at pictures but here they are. I really like it, but notice the handlebars they put on belong on bagger with a fairing not a Roadking. New ones should be in this week and they will be eating 3 hours to replace.

Can you still use your windshield with those turn signals installed?   My local dealer wants $275 for those signals powdercoated black and installed.

My dealer set it up so I can use my windshield. I have seen others that you could not. my powder coat alone was 80 bucks so I would say 275 is pretty good. Everyone has told me it looks 100% better.

Oh and by the way you need to like them because they drilled a hole in my uppers to hide the wire which you cannot see at all. Another one i saw had the wires come from behind with no hole and mine looks a lot cleaner.

Yep, the drill/no drill is a big decision. Most RK's that have the custom aux lighting brackets will kick the wires behind or around the nacelle bottom. This works if you intend to return the bike to stock if/when selling, and then trying to get something something back for your mods by selling ala carte. If someone never intends to separate the upgrades when letting go of their baby, then drilling is a nice way to go. For those that want the full aux lighting brackets that would support drilling a hole and completely hiding all wires, they should order the brackets for an Ultra instead of a the custom bracket kit (courtesy of 2K).
