Latest!

I just got a call from the Dealer. They're arranging for the delivery of my new SERK into their warehouse for tomorrow morning. They will try to get the bike to the dealership by mid-afternoon, have me arrive there, and uncrate it in front of me. With any luck, they'll start working on it Fri. as well. Worst case, Mon morning. It appears I won't be getting it any earlier than Tuesday at this point. it's a frozen tundra here now, so I guess it doen't matter when. I just missed the weather by about a week or two anyway, it seems. Oh well! ;) Hoist! 8-)

NEWS FLASH!
My scooter showed up yesterday afternoon. Like you guys in New York, the temp. took a dive down here in Tennessee too. Looking at the 10 day forcast, I will not be going after it anytime soon. I don't trailer, I bought it to ride. Good luck all!

Congrats Rusty!! get the long johns out!  Can ya sleep at all  Hoist?   [smiley=huepfenlol2.gif]  I am leavin the mountains and heading down to the zoo.....i hope there are no canadian camels there,  Il'l get swallowed  up alive and  need the seuc's nav system to find my way out!!   I will call ya tomorrow from the city. Congrats, Rusty.  Abernathy's????  Was just up in your neck of the woods two weeks ago.  Rode to Cathy's Catfish Cabin on Hwy 79 for lunch.

HOT DAMN!  Good news for Hoist and Rusty for a change.  None of you should feel too bad about the temperatures where you are.  I picked my SERK up five weeks ago tomorrow and have only gotten to ride it twice for a total of 250 miles.  Cold weather doesn't keep me from riding but rain, snow, sleet and ice storms sure as hell do and that's been the story of our Texas weather ever since I brought it home from Tulsa in the back of my truck.
It just ain't fair I tell ya.  (yes, I am whining.., so what?)

It got a little better (not much, but a little). IT'S AT THEIR WAREHOUSE!!! [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif] [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif] Trucker dropped it off this afternoon. They're calling me in the morning when it gets to the dealership. I'll hopefully see it get unpacked by noon. It's really crappy weather here now. It'll probably be ready on Mon. or Tues. [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif] No way that thing's going in a van or trailer. I'm riding it home no matter what!!! :o Well no snow or ice anyway. :-[ But it's in NY now. One step closer to home! ;) Hoist! 8-)
