Thanks Louis and Kojak! When you get a new CVO just about any weather's good for riding Kojak! :o

My VIN's 955549. Man that did take awhile to get there. They built almost 350 SERKs while yours was getting delivered! You musta went nuts waiting for that thing! Safe riding Louis! ;) Hoist! 8-)

Thanks WO, Really nice looking chopper (my Rottie's name!). For around town and barhopping, you're gonna love it. I'm too friggin old to be riding rigids across the country anymore. I'll stick with my rolling Barcolounger and leave them choppers to you young 'uns! ::) Good luck when you get it. ;) Hoist! 8-)

It is great to hear that all went well on both deliveries today.

Howie-I can't wait to see your pictures.  Unfortunatly, I am still running on a generator and dial up, so my wait for the pics to load, is almost as long as you have been waiting for the bike to arrive.   ;D ;D

Louis-The bike looks great man!  After spending a few minutes admiring the bike, I couldn't help but notice the picture of the extremely unclothed woman hanging on the wall.  VERY NICE.  You know on this side of the pond, having a picture like that out for public display (even in your local H-D service department) usually results in a lawsuit.   [smiley=nixweiss.gif]

Again, congrats to both of you.  And here is to an early spring on both sides of the Atlantic!!

I agreed Howie.  This 60 year old body did a 4,000 mile, ten state, 14 day ride on the RKC last summer with my girlfriend on the back.  The comfort factor was never an issue.  I don't think I could even ride a rigid to the local watering hole anymore.  But I'm glad there are kids out there that still can. One of these days, they'll be geezers too and need to be buying our used bikes.   ;D

I finally got power back this afternoon.  Almost exactly 1 week after it went out.  I didn't put the generator away though.  Thats right, you guessed it.  It is snowing and sleeting here again.  >:(

I guess I have done something to anger the motorcycle gods.  I have lived here for 5 years, and we have already gotten more snow this year, than all the other years combined.

Tell me oh masters of the motorcycle, Lords of Leather, (d00d, twolane, 103thunder) what sacrifice need I make to to bring an end to this unbearably chitty weather? [smiley=coolblue.gif]
