d00d, I'm excited to get the bike and set it up right. I plan on giving you all the deserved updates and pics, after all the torture I've given you all these past few months. Maintaining 16/day, I don't think so. Then again you never know! Hoist!

Well gang. I had to close the poll. There was an answer missing from this poll that nobody can fathom. We were all wrong, but someone besides myself were closest saying it would ship on time. My bike shipped 1 day early! It shipped yesterday! [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif] [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif] [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif] The salesman is off Thursdays. He called this morning with my VIN. It should show up next week and be ready by next weekend! So, this is a really good progress report. Getting closer now!!! Hoist!

Congrats on the progress Hoist.  I'm still sticking by my prediction of arrival on the 17th.

I hope the weather that going through here has passed us all by next weekend.  We have an ice storm forecast through Monday.  I live in TEXAS for God's sake.  This is where people come to get away from that stuff.  There's got to be a pony in there somewhere.

I hate riding in temps lower then 50.  thats when my broncitis kicks in.  but thats also when I managed to get some miles on my red one.  277 so far,,  but its in the low 30's high 20's here now with rain that turned to light slushy snow overnight.


can't wait for Daytona.  finish breaking her in where its warm. [smiley=apple.gif]

I visited my dealers hoping for an update on my planned delivery for March 1st and was told it could now be as late as April or May  [smiley=nervous.gif]

Sure hope they are wrong.

When I order my Jester, my dealer says me that it was three dates for the deliveries in Europe : End of November, April and June.
When on the screen of the dealer, we read the date of shipping from the MoCo to Europe, we wait one month before the arrival.
Today, My jester is not in the planning for the production. Normally, not before February.
Concerning the delivery date in April, I know not if it's the beginning, end or the beginning of May.
In one month, it'll be more clear. I'll inform you when I've more informations.

Just to let you know you're not in that 'waiting boat' alone...  But, I'm not sure which is worse, waiting for delivery of a new bike or having a new bike delivered and not being able to see it yet.  My 07 SEUC was delivered to the dealer in Virgina in September. It still has only 9 miles on it. I leave here (Iraq) end of March. Once I get to Virginia, I then have to ship it to where I live/work in Okinawa Japan (another $3500) and then get it legal for the roads there. I'll be lucky to be riding my new SEUC by July '07--it takes lots of time, and about $4000 to get the paperwork squared away for Japan.  (With all that money spent, I won't be able to satisfy my OCD for a while...)

With all the comments here about engines failing and poor quality paint from the factory, I'm beginning to wonder if this was a good idea or not.  If I'd read about all the problems from factory, before I bought it, I probably would have waited.  Unfortunately, when I read last August about all the improvements in the '07, my knee-jerk reaction was to get one while they were available.

One question for you, does your dealer there in France offer an extended warranty, like the US dealers do?  I'll have to check on this in Japan.

So, I feel your pain, about the waiting...  Hope it works out for you.

Trucker made arrangements to drop the bikes off at my dealer's warehouse on Wed, 1/17. They'll get my new SERK to their shop on Thurs sometime for the uncrating. I'm bugging them to let me pick it up on Fri (Sat's the Bike Show at Javits). With any luck, I'll be riding it before next weekend. My friend's going to Vegas on Sat for some more PC training. So if I can't get it to him on Fri, I won't get my mufflers, PC or Dyno-tune until he returns. The weather also sucks right now. We'll see how the week develops! Hoist!
