Any updates to the question of whether a kit is out there allowing for removal of the ugly bag bars on a 2011.5 SE Ultra? Seems like I have to leave them on, or go with a Road King support that requires removal of the filler strips....comments anyone? Would sure like to remove mine... :confused5:

The bag support bars that are on my 2013 CVO Road King may work for yall :nixweiss: The bike also has the rear filler panel. Here is a picture.

adjusted the floorboards, and the bars were still in the way on our 13. removed the bars, and no more problem. happy BSR  ;D

I thought about doing this on my 13' cuse8 but I am concerned if we ever went down that her legs would get crushed without the bars there.

Any one know if those angled bars that phato1 recommended will work on a 13'?

I've got them on my bike. Bolted right on.  :2vrolijk_21: (They're not in the picture, I need a newer pic.)
