Just bought a CVO Breakout in Australia

Well folks , I just today bought a "used" 2013 CVO "Black Diamond and Molten silver" Breakout here in Perth Western Australia

4,300 Kilometres on it ( or 2,700 miles ) , one owner who also had a 2011 Roadking

I've been looking for a while and "missed" them on the 2013 Australian rollout

High comp' pistons and a 259e cam , with Freedom Performance Declaration turnouts true duals exhaust and an HD supertuner,all dealer fitted when brand new !

I'm experienced with the TTS product range , but the seller had the HD tuner from day 1 so I'll have to get used to it !!

It will be joining my 2008 CVO Springer in the garage

Which one will be my favourite ? Time will tell , but I sure LOVE my CVO Springer...

Reflections two days on

Quicker than the CVO Springer ? My first try up a freeway onramp I was underwhelmed ??

Less " grunt" than the Springer ?

On the freeway , in 6th , dropped a gear and gunned it . WHAMMO !!

That's the difference between the 255 cams and the 259e I realised !

Breakout has way more power , but well up the rev range.

Ground clearance/lean angle ? The Springer is way better , I'll have to modify my riding style on the Breakout

CVO 13 Breakout fitted 3" over forks on mine can now use all rear Tyre.Also installed Gold valves Heaps better on Aussie roads

twice now on mine I have scraped the right heel on my boots on roundabouts , one occasion buffing the heel well down

Even the right footpeg has buff marks underneath..

Now I'm riding like a granny compared to my Springer

I'll get used to it...

gmeikle, if you continue to compare your BO against your Springer, you will always find your Springer coming in first place.  The BO is nice but will never match the beauty of your Springer.
