H-D Aux Running Light/Brake/Turn Signal Conv.

Auxiliary Running Light / Brake Light / Turn Signal Conversion Kit - 69461-06

Turn signal module adds an auxiliary brake light and running light function to your existing turn signals for auxiliary rear lighting. Easy-to-install, the kit simply plugs into your existing wiring harness. Red turn signal lenses are included. Meets DOT requirements.

I had this on my Ultra and if someone can tell me for strange reason why it will not work on my '06 other than the flat lenses it is going to be installed. Just thought I'd check to make sure before purchasing. Thanks!..CW

It will work but you'll need lenses. If you get part number 69462-06 it comes with the bullet type lenses.

Took it off my Ultra and put it on my CUSE.  Installed chrome rim smoked bullet lens covers with red bulbs.  Works great, and REALLY lights up the rear end when stopping.

I just put that kit on my SEEG last weekend.  Plan to post photos if I can ever remember to take the camera out to where the bike is at.  I really like the way it looks, both "on" (lit up) and "off" (bike sitting).  On, lots more light back there where you need it the most.  Off, all red lenses looks somewhat better than the combination of the red tail light with amber turn signals.

If you buy that kit and use the red lenses that come with, you will need to purchase new clear 1156 bulbs as the kit does not come with them.

Like others have said it works great.  I also converted the bulbs to led type and added the led radiantz strip you mention above.  The thread on the strips is here  http://flhrsei.org/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi?num=1132970136/135

I posted some before/after photos of the 69462-06 kit over in the SEEG section, in case anyone's interested: http://flhrsei.org/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi?num=1162508312/51#51

I had the kit installed before I picked my bike up from the dealer.   I had the kit on m '02 Ultra, and with the lack of lighting on the tour-pak on the CVO, I wanted to at least have the turn signals act as running lights to light up the rear a little better.  I'm glad I put the kit on, because it does light it up much better than just the tail light.
