I don't know about that location either. Best to carry on person. I would worry about floorboard scraping and water in lock and rusting shut. Not that concealed either when lock looks to be on top part of floorboard. Anyone criminal or Law Enforcement would catch on quick to a locking floorboard as containing something of value or contraband.

It would be a great location for when you need to secure your gun for when you walk into areas you're not allowed to carry. ie, schools, post office ect.

Was thinking the same thing.....

....which is why I carry mine on my person where I can retrieve it, if necessary.

Still, would be a great place for a second, if it's water tight and the vibration down there doesn't do any damage to the weapon.

Looks like it might afford some limited secure storage for those bikes w/o locking saddlebags.
