Does anyone own the Code Master Service Code Reader, part no. 32312-10? I'm wondering if it is worth buying and if it has been helpful to any of you.

I don't own one, but a friend did. Never showed him a code that we couldn't read in the ODO.......but then was he an expert? No!

No experience with that particular device, but I assume it's similar to the ones sold in the automotive aftermarket.  If you know how to pull up the codes using the odometer (very simple process, and free) and either have the manual with all the codes and definitions listed or have the online version (also free), I see no real advantage to one of these simple code readers.  A real scan tool would be a different story.

It's funny how Harley can take a very simple device that is less capable than the cheapest Actron device for cars and sell it to the faithful for $150 with a straight face.  They have absolutely no shame, but then most of us already knew that.

Consider spending another hundred bucks or so and get the Twin Scan tool from Daytona.  There are other options also.  Things that are actual tools to help get work done when you need to.

So if I read this right it can help bleed the ABS too?  If that is the case it would be very handy.

Yes, their latest version of the tool also allows you to bleed the ABS system at home with your beer fridge close at hand.
