2003 FLHRSEI2 Dented Rear Fender - Corbin Solo
« on: March 11, 2014, 05:38:11 PM »

My 2003 SERK has two dents in rear fender located just in front of and to the outside of saddle screws.  The two rear bumpers on the Corbin solo saddle caused the dents.  Corbin sent eight new bumpers which they say will eliminate the problem from getting worse.  Has anyone else had the same problem?

dwa.....this is an interesting post as it is your first and only since being registered on the site for many months.   Regardless, welcome albeit a bit late.

What is more interesting is that Corbin is apparently aware of an issue that their solo seat has caused for this particular application.   Can you please supply a picture?   I'm curious to see this and the resolution they are offering.  Hopefully, the damage done is well out of view....the gold annies are very special and it pains me to hear of one having an issue.

EZ - Thanks for the response and welcome.  Not posting before now is because of your advice:  Get off the internet and ride.  Pictures can be emailed if you wish.  As mentioned, Corbin's resolution is to replace all eight bumper pads which should eliminate further damage which is not visible unless saddle is removed.  Take care, be safe, and have fun.
