Fxr3 color

picked up fxr3 in green last fall. Known the one owner since new. Sat up 4 or 5 yrs till I finally talked him into selling it to me. He told me it was in a minor accident and replaced tank. Yesterday in the sun I finally noticed dark portion of tank is not as green as fenders. Is this right ? Did he get a bad after market Pinter match or are y'all's this way

my wifes FXR3 is the same way.  Appears to start black then green dusting going to the flames.  Not at all like the fenders.

well it is hard to tell without looking at it but there is indeed a difference from the factory between the fenders and tank.
