I guess it is always better to have a puking cat that is healthy, than the alternative.

We had to put our cat down today.  We had her at the vet this last week and they couldn't improve her quality of life so it is best.  It has hit Cindy pretty hard today since she has had the cat for 15 years.

Certainly the only decision that could be made and we made the effort to make sure it wasn't a correctable condition, but age got the best of her.  So like WFP stated way back in the thread somewhere, a tough decision was made.

I guess when you take on pet ownership you know there will be days like this, we'll just have to remember all the good days in the past 15 years.......even the pukey ones.

Roger,
Sorry to hear this. :'( Pets become a part of the family and it's not easy to make the decision you did today.

This thread just won't die!

I got to clean up some yesterday... :(

Kinda slowed down there for a little while and it was missed. Wife's cats continue to puke as well. Never know, hairball, just slime or food. Everyday's a surprise.

And I'm sure Lincoln will hock one up very soon to show her sympathies as well.  It is what she does after all....

So; when does the new kitten come in to the household?
