I'm not really sure what everyone was expecting.  It's still a Road Glide fairing and it still looks like a Road Glide fairing.  They had to retool it to add the air vents, which we'll find out just what functions they perform next month.  They also had to retool the inner fairing for the new Infotainment system.  They also had to make everything that goes inside fit just right.  So yes, they made a lot of changes to the fairing as a whole, but the appearance hasn't changed all that much.  It's still unmistakably a Road Glide fairing, and with that comes the fact that some will like it and some won't.  That isn't going to change.  If it isn't liquid cooled out of the gate, and they didn't figure a way to put the cooling system in the fairing (and I don't think they can find the room in the fairing to do so), then we will eventually see a version with lower fairings equipped with the cooling system.  Personally, I'd like to see a Road Glide Ultra CVO and Road Glide Ultra standard or limited model introduced this year with liquid cooling.

You make some very good points. That would be a good thing IMO

That was my thought also.  Many will and many won't like it with few in between.  That doesn't mean it's new that just means it's Road Glide.

Any spy shots or info on new models. What are the new CVO's? Not much info this year like years past. I wonder if the interest in owning a CVO has dropped off because of quality

Don't know if the interest dropped because of quality or the fact the limited offers so much for around 10k less.

Harley's quality has never been better if you measure RPPM. But it is still subpar to the Japanese. Still has a lot of issues but it's because they lack a solid manufacturing system including a NPD process.

They are getting it though but it's a slow change.

I believe the lack of interest is because the CVO's (especially the Ultra version) have unfortunately become too "common place" being released every year since 2006.

The CVO's still show up at the dealers and they still leave the dealers.  They don't sit long enough to gather dust in the dealerships around here.  I'm not sure where the above comments are derived from.  Nobody ever seems to know with any certainty what is coming for the new year until the CARB reports come out, and every year it seems like people start looking for them earlier.  As usual, we'll see those probably a week or so in advance (maybe a few days before introduction), and I would guess no sooner.

I am stuck in a rock and a hard spot. I will be moving to Turkey when I retire from the Navy in 2016 and wont get there till 2017, and when I move I can only bring a vehicle/Motorcycle that is 3 years old with me, so my 2012 Convertible must go which sucks cause I love that bike. I really hope the 2015's are sweet and have a 120 in them!

The only 2015's at Sturgis are the Road Glide and the Road Glide Special.  They look pretty good, ride very well, wind management is an improvement, 3 vents to eliminate buffeting.  However if your over 5'8" the wind noise is loud, a taller shield or something will be needed.

Hopefully there is more to come at Dealer show like a Limited Road Glide or better yet a CVO road glide, want wet heads at least.
