Different strokes for different folks.  I personally like the contrast provided by the black trim versus the monochromatic look.  There comes a point where making everything one color gets old.  Remember the days of the monochromatic cars where everything including the wheels was white for instance?  I kept waiting for some clown to paint the windows and tires white as well, to "complete" the look.

As for the feature itself, it's the same thing I've been promoting around here in various threads on buffeting for close to nine years.  The idea isn't new, and when done properly it really makes a huge difference in smoothing the air flow behind a fairing or windshield.  I'm impressed that Harley finally bit the bullet and added the feature.

Contrast is fine. It's the "unfinished" look of the raw plastic that doesn't do it for me.

Might be an older Roadie in my future if this is the new design. I like the rider portion though.

I sure hope it looks better than that... I am waiting... if it is that ugly I will go with the Road King CVO... if they come out with one in blue... if not I will wait until they do.

I agree.  It is odd we have not seen any info from the California EPA that is usually the first indicator

It can't be correct.  The nomenclatures for the various models belong to year models prior to 2015.
