Tour pak lighting wiring question
« on: April 03, 2014, 06:30:08 PM »

I have a tour pak for my 2010 SESG but I don't have any lights on it. Am thinking of adding the light kit but was wondering how to connect it. Is there a wiring kit that will plug right in? Part number?  Thanks for the help

If your 2010 is configured same as my 2011, there is a connector under the left side cover you can get run/brake signals to the rear end.  If you want to add turn signals, then you'll need to buy a "Y" connector or build your own and create your own harness to the tourpac.

There are a couple threads about it, and someone sells the "Y" harness, but I never got any replies when I inquired, so I built my own.

There is a tour pac harness that is made for the CVO that plugs into the fender harness under the seat and then is routed to the TP.. it includes the plug into the OEM TP lites and has a qwik plug to make it ez to remove with qwik detach setup .. I have one new in the bag and will ship @45.00 if u want it ..

Sorry for the lateness of the reply but was tied up at work.  I would like the connector unless you would prefer to sell to Jswerve since he replied first.  I am ordering lights for my tourpak and need it.  Just let me know

I am about to add an air wing rack with LED run/brake light to my aftermarket swinebox tourpack. I want the LED light to strobe with my brake lights so I am getting the MPR-SS8 wiring adapter from Custom Dynamics. I can plug the adapter in downstream of my magic stobe module, wire the air wing light to it, and then it will strobe with the brake lights and be semi quick detachable with the swinebox. I have to get under the seat anyway when removing the swinebox to unplug the heated backrest that I have on it. The adapter can be seen at the following link. http://www.customdynamics.com/loadequalizer.htm#Adapters
