2011 CVO ultra, touring pack quick detach
« on: April 04, 2014, 12:19:35 AM »

Hi guys, I'm looking at putting in the quick release to remove the touring pack, but I have been told that the amplifier is under the touring pack and would have to be re-located. Just wondering if there is an actual kit for this somewhere or is it all custom modification. I don't use the tour pack and would like to basically convert it into a road king. Ideas would be great. Thanks in advance.

Try the "search" feature above plenty of threads and option for the solution your seeking.

No kit that I am aware of, but has been done many times by members here. Moving (usually replacing) the amp to saddlebag or fairing. Takes more than basic skills, but can be handled. You won't get a Road King, but a nice Street Glide.

You will need p/n 53246-09A, approx $550, and get the hidden antenna install p/n 76000513.  Worked for me
