Willie, When you get it can you post a picture of it installed?

I never thought about adding gold, but I see it does look real good on Scott's bike and with the gold pin striping it makes sense.

I'll post a pic when the emblem arrives and I get it installed.  But in the meantime take a good look at the rear of your bike......the luggage rack is chrome and even closer to the bottom is the chrome light bar.  So for me...I think the chrome matches better.  But remember I also have the chrome bezel around the radio and gauges that no one else liked

I also have the chrome filler strips and the chrome nostalgic rails that go around the saddle bags.  So I am leaning a bit more to the chrome as well.

Bar and Shield wing emblems.  You might want to wait and see what I think of them when I get them later this week.  [smiley=nixweiss.gif] He said he is getting a new shipment in next week.  [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]
I ordered a second one as I might decide to put them on the back of each hard saddlebag.

Willie, can you send it to me also? Chrome and  [smiley=banana.gif] looks better than gold and  [smiley=banana.gif]. Even though gold is cheaper than chrome when is comes to H-D.

OK SEEG folks...I took the ugly thing off the bike.  Here are two pics of my options. Both emblems are flat and the fender is not so some shaping on the vise is necessary....but you can tell the difference in the OVAL bar and shield vs the WINGED one.  Sorry the pics are not too good...it was dark and I have had a LONG feaking day....2 50 gal. water heaters burst in my basement and I've been vac'g my basement since 5 am.   .  I now have 2 new WH's for $2350.00.  What the hell ! [smiley=jalapeno.gif] I am now on my second  [smiley=drink.gif]

Someone (like d00d) may have to resize these pics.  I still don't know how.  Let me know what you think.  I still have the option of putting the winged version on the rear of each saddlebag ?[highlight]thoughts?[/highlight]
