FLTRUSE Heated grip uninstall

Considering swapping my stock heated grips for Kury iso-grips+Heat Demons.
First, any tricks to pulling the heated grips I should be aware of?
Second, since it's finally warming up here in MD, I was thinking of swapping the grips now and doing the Hear Demons install in the fall. Any issues with doing it that way?
