Reflector Insert for 2014 Baggers

Prototype pair of reflector inserts for the redesigned 2014 hard bags.  To my knowledge these are the only ones on the planet right now!

If a more generic design (that would appeal to the masses) was made, what is the most you think anyone would pay for a set of these?  Keeping in mind no else makes reflector inserts for the 2014 baggers.

I would say that you could probably get $60 or maybe more for a powdercoated pair?   I think they look great!

These are aluminum.  So, options are polished w/clear coat, powder coat paint, or high-gloss enamel paint w/clear.  The Drag Specialties inserts for the pre-2014 bags are either polished or black powder-coated.

My DS inserts are chrome.

Yours look awesome.  Have you considered non-cvo designs?

Hmmm, actually chromed steel...huh, okay, because I don't think you can chrome aluminum.  I ordered the black DS inserts to study and they were aluminum, so I assumed the "shiny" DS inserts were polished aluminum.  That's good information!

I have two so-called graphic designers that are supposed to be helping me come up with a non-cvo design, but it has been several weeks and I am growing impatient.  My strong suit is engineering and building things, not creating foo-foo designs.  :)

Plenty of chrome plated aluminum in the car industry, not sure what the process is but it can definitely be done.

I didn't pay too close of attention when I installed any of the 5 sets I've used over the years, but they are light, and I just checked them with a magnet and they aren't attracted.   And they are definitely chrome with black accents.
