If you can send me the drawing for the outline of the piece I'll see what i can do to create the rest of the drawing in the formats you mentioned.

Screamin Eagle would be less of a niche than CVO as I have seen a lot of bikes that install some SE parts on otherwise non-SE engines but the CVO designation is specific to what HD manufactures. (OK - let me be honest and admit that I'm just trying to talk you into this one! ;D )

As a fan of the Screamin Eagle graphics on the RG fairing, I was wondering if the graphic below is possible.

That's sweet!  Nice design Cam    :2vrolijk_21:   I'd buy a set of those.

If these are not too thick I would not waste the time to waterJet them. Depending on how thick you can run a small "V" shaped tool around them just as fast on a CNC while doing the rest of the machining and then just break them apart. This requires a small amount of time to hand finish the edges but your going to have to do that anyway to polish the edges. Be very careful about using a SE logo as HD will come after you for it. Then, if they see them selling well, they will R&D (ripoff and duplicate) them!

We can design it so that it is very close but not quite the same. :D If there is enough folks who would like the SE I can get to work and post a couple different versions to choose from.

Just be prepared for them up front. Doc1 here on the forum learned the hard way as his shop name was HDMD and they came after him for that. So you either step up with the dollars to fight them or change. Then they come in with there R&D and I have had them do that to me first hand!

Sad part of that is he probably was more of a "MD" for "HD" than could be found at most of the places that have "HD" in their name. it is a shame that you find those that are more passionate about "HD" outside of the confines of those that carry "HD" under the "MoCO" banner (disclaimer: not all... but more than it should be).

I know you are designing for 2014 and beyond but I would be interested in a set designed for pre '14 scooters as Ginger would look good with these attached (my '12 SESG).  I'm not that impressed with what anybody has so far purposed for our bikes in the reflector area on the bags.  That's the main reason I haven't changed it yet.

No.  These reflector insert were designed specifically for the newly redesigned bags on the 2014s and newer, until Harley changes them again.  It’s a shame there are not more options out there for the pre-2014 bikes.  The older latch inserts would be so much easier to make since the shape is a parallelogram and flat.  These new reflector inserts are keeping me plenty busy and with riding season ramping up, there are no plans to retro the design.  Sorry, dnlpnd
