It looks like it has a nice bucket for the rider,  why is everyone bitching (Or did they cut those seats narrow again for the freakin short guys??)

Thanks for the pics....

TC,
I was just wondering.  I just bought a road blimp for long rides for my  [smiley=cherry.gif], it should be here today.  Ottis gifted nme some 3M stuff to protect the paint and Spiderman gave me the template to drill the tourpac for the wrap around backrest.  I was just wondering why the factory puts such chitty seats on the bikes from the factory,  when we all know they do know how to build a better mouse trap.  I guess they want the extra $$ outta your pocket in after sales...... Everyone's butt is different.  For me the stock seat is just fine and I've done several full day, 700+ mile rides.  My previous Ultra ('99 model) stock seat was awful to me and I changed it to a Mustang.  Kept the Mustang and planned to swap it on my cuse but never did since the seat seems to fit me OK.  Just the luck of the draw I guess, if you find it comfortable or not.  Like you said Terry, my passenger ,aka the Harley Queen, finds her seat OK, especially after I added the gel seat pad which perches her up a little higher.  Being Queenly she does like to peer out over her subject, me! TC,
I'm hoping the same thing.  This is the last chance effort........If this one doesn't work,    my bike will be on the for sale page here shortly.....Love to ride,  but it's not worth a week of pain to recover anymore...

I didn't care much for the stock seat when I first got it.  I've been thru the RZ and a Sundowner, and neither one really did it for me (Sundowner is still sittin in a box in the geerage).  So now I've got the stocker back on it and it feels better to me than the others did, so it's stayin, and with the temps droppin the heat is NICE.

I just can't handle the Road Zepplin seat.  I'm not THAT short, honest, about 5' 10", but the Zep is just toooooooooo wide at the front.  Spreads me so far apart that those size 11.5 boots can just barely touch the ground.  It might sit good but I've got to be able to handle the scoot when stopped.

Ultra,
That's the complaint that I've heard many times about the road blimps.  I don't have to worry about touching,  my bike is lowered and I'm pretty long legged.  I'm hoping it's here today,  I'll let you know how it turns out.....
