Works shocks
« on: April 30, 2014, 07:17:22 PM »

Finally got my shocks back.
My old ones needed rebuilding after about 90K miles. I liked them so much I ordered a similar set for my solo SG wihout the ARS
Got to ride both bikes last couple days and just LOVE the ride over OEM.
Details: Both are the Steel Trackers, my 2014 is used for long rides, 2-up, pulling a big azz trailer. This is adjustable for pre-load with the ARS
My SG is for cruising around town, thus, no ARS, just threaded pre-load.
Set up from the factory, I had to reduce pre-load on the SG.
I'm sure after some miles they will need to be re-adjusted.
Did I say I LOVE the ride???
JMHO of course, cudos to the staff at Works,
RIP Sandy.

You've got that collar cranked down Mike.    :cherry:

I like my Works Steeltrackers with ARS and DRS also..   I sent mine back this past winter and had resealed/regassed by Pierre while cam work was being done.

Yeah thats where the collar was out of the box
Left it there for my test ride then ran it up about halfway to get it where I liked it!
Liking them more each day!

I have the billet trackers, and the front cartridges from Works. Mu Ultra RAILS around corners like a GSXR. Will NEVER ride stock susp ever again. Will be the first thing  I do to a bike when I buy a new one.

Because of your posts a few years back and how you went with WORKS, I put a set on mine, 13", and have loved them ever since.

I've traded in 3 bikes since 09
Seems I keep my shocks longer than the bikes!
They seem to last Longer  too!
And easier/ cheaper to rebuild!
JMHO of course!
