Question for Steve Cole (or anyone that knows)
« on: May 01, 2014, 07:20:47 PM »

I have an extra set of cables for a SEPST, #32184-08A. Will they work on the TTS Blue Dongle? They look the same to me, but don't want to give any members false hopes. Thanks in advance!

Various versions of the HD cables are not all the same from what we have seen. The original cables they sold for the SERT will not work. Some of the newer cables that are for the SESPT that have all molded ends appear to work, then there are others that are screwed together ends that are pieces of junk. So with that said what ones do you have?

The cable with the USB on one end & small square port for the dongle on the other are molded. The other cable has a molded connector for the ECM and a 9 pin hard plastic screw together plug for the dongle. Thanks!!

The USB cable is a standard USB A to B type cable, they are commonly used as printer cables. The screwed together cable that HD sold is/was cheap junk. We have seen them with broken and misplaced wires in them and cannot recommend using them
