WHAAAAT!!! Not another. No way, should be as smooth as a babys b-tt.

Lot's of possibilities as to how but most comonly temperature control. Maybe MoCo hasn't been paying their heat bill. Do not like continually hearing about paint problems >:(

Had none on my Dark Teal and Light Teal nor my current "Haze"...

Perhaps the orange peel is on the clear and can be buffed out?

Ride it - and when it's dirty no one will know!

Orange peel will be more noticeable on a Black bike, and its normal, You should have to look very hard to find it. no paint is perfectly smooth like glass, unless its sanded flat and rubbed out, and trust me, you dont want that.

Really?? Never saw it on any car I owned. I consider it a defect. I can see it from 7 feet away on my current paint job on my bike and I don't like the way it looks.  :o

It appears that very slight orange-peal is normal for a production paint job. If it's a problem, complain to the dealer. My dealer wet sanded and rubbed out my 06 fenders, my new B/O Jester has near perfect paint. Very slight orage-peal on the front  and rear fenders and side covers, not even worth having the dealer touch it. :)

OK ya'll, when I looked at the bike the other day at the dealer I noticed slight, very slight, but slightly noticeable orange peel. The bike had not even been washed. So I cannot confirm or deny the presence of OP. I am just curious if it would be normal to be there or if it is there should that indicate a problem. Thank you for all who have responded. Hopefully I'll be picking the bike up tomorrow. 50% chance of rain. AJ
Pix to follow tomorrow (I hope).

Good luck wth your new bike. Look it over carefully. Are these paint problems, that seem to be common, only on the fiber glass parts? Why aren't any bikes besides SE Full Dressers ever mentioned in these threads? Just curious. Hoist!

If the B/O you are getting looks anything like the ones I have seen, you are getting a gorgeous scooter. I would love it if my paint to look as good as the '07's, including the orange peel. Congrats!!, Id be more worried about all the replacing of engines that is occuring with these. Do you know if they have fixed the problem with the engines on the '07's yet????
