  Just came back from the tail. First time for me and I tell you guy's this trip changed my life. I never ridden such awesome roads. The roads heading to your destination are better then the roads AT your destination. My brain was exploding around every corner. I will, from now on take all my bike holidays in the Smokey Mountains. Just so much to explore and its so beautiful. I am so fortunate to finally experience this area. Oh, and I love the Tennessee accent. !!

   I just wish the GPS worked a bit better in the mountains.

The post above explains why we bought property in Maggie Valley and will build our retirement home there.
CVO2FIXUP Western North Carolina is a great area to ride in, as you have found out.

Headed that way this Thursday for a long weekend.  Plan to do the Dragon and Cherohala beginning and ending days with some BRP, Asheville and Smoky Mt in between.

When not crowded I enjoy the dragon but there are other more off the beaten track that just a nice. We did the dragon Friday but the south eastern Ky ride yesterday was every bit as enjoyable and not crowds.
